Lennar Homes has been one of America’s leading homebuilders since 1954.
Lennar acquired approximately 40 acres of property from the Olsen family along Moore Road just west of Rancho Vistoso Boulevard.
The Olsen family had owned the property for over 39 years and watched as the Town of Oro Valley grew and changed around them. In order for Lennar to develop the property, Lazarus, Silvyn & Bangs assisted with both a General Plan amendment in the Town to permit the rezoning densities required, and then a rezoning to Planned Area Development (PAD).
Close coordination was required with surrounding neighbors and stakeholders, Town staff and Town elected officials. The General Plan Amendment was approved in 2013 and the PAD was approved in 2014.
