Hacienda del Sol is a historic property nestled in the foothills in Tucson.
It began as an all-girl’s boarding school in 1929 and was improved through the years by renowned local architect Josiah Joesler. In 1995, a group of local Tucson investors bought the property and committed to maintaining its historic status and bringing the project into the next century of hospitality.
Over the years, the zoning code had changed and the Hacienda del Sol has become a grandfathered/legal-nonconforming use
As such, expansions and modifications have to be carefully crafted to ensure the Property maintains a legal zoning status. Lazarus, Silvyn & Bangs continues to work with the Hacienda ownership to ensure this amazing property is both maintained and expanded to become the amazing experience that it is.
