Banner’s national headquarters are based in Phoenix.
It is the largest private employer in Arizona and one of the largest in the United States with over 50,000 employees. The goal with the proposed PUD is to replace numerous site plans and stipulations that have been approved over the last 40 years, with a vision for the next 40 years, and a comprehensive set of standards and guidelines to implement that vision.
Lazarus, Silvyn & Bangs, along with Banner, the architects, engineers and planners created the PUD with a goal for the overall design concept for Banner University Medical Center Phoenix to be a health care campus that can expand and adjust to health care delivery and at the same time, optimally manage the “Flows of Medicine”. This is currently a work in progress.
